History of the S & H Ladies

The S&H (Social and Humanitarian) Ladies were founded in 1967 by Mary Wilson. She recognized the needs of her community and her fellowman and made a commitment along with eight other young women of doing something to make this world a little better place to live.

When first started, the S&H Ladies were not under the auspicious of the church. However, because all of the ladies ere members of Bethel, they spoke to Rev. Hall, who was pastor at that time and were allowed to become an auxiliary of the church.

The purpose of our organization is simply to help others. Our members are involved in feeding the hungry, clothing them and helping out whenever and wherever we are needed.

We meet the first Friday of every month at 7:30 PM in the homes of our members.

You are invited to come and join us in our works for the Lord. If you would like to paticipate or know more about our group, feel free to contact our church office.
