The
Bayview Love Club was organized by the late Rev. C. Wayne Love
of Bethel A.M.E. Church on February 28, 1950. It was organized
in the home of Warner and Lillian Wilson in San Francisco, CA.
The purpose of the Bayview Love Club was to create a fellowship
among the members of the Hunter's Point Area and Bayview Area.
The group's goals was to strengthen the ties of Christian Unity
in the community.
The members meet at least once a month or more if the majority
the group saw a need. The Bayview Love Club's various committees
consisted of:
